Final Product

This is our final piece titled 'Violated'.

audience Feedback

Our audience feedback suggests that our media product suited the target audience well as when people answered our questionnaire the majority said it would suit the 16-3oyrs age range.. Most people clearly understood that the girl in the sequence was to be murdered/abused in some way. The fact that they didn't know exactly what happened was our intention to create an enigma, leaving the audience wanting to continue watching, which proved successful through our feedback sheets. Although we left a strong enigma everyone said that there was a clear narrative and they wanted to continue watching. A lot of people commented on our opening sequence leaving them interested and concerned about future events  and made them aware of what could happen to them. I believe that is a positive response provoking awareness as well as producing a good media product.

My feelings about our project

I feel that our final product is of a good standard.

I am pleased with the way the point of view shots have turned out, i think the special effects work well showing the effect the drugs/alcohol have had on the girls state of mind. I also like the way the music changes from party 'dance' music to 'creepy' music towards the end. The only thing i would have changed in my project would be the lighting. I would try and film everything at once so that the lighting was all the same, but that is obviously very difficult to do as we realised the extra shots we needed as we began editing our video and putting it together.

So far..

So far we have managed to film about 70% of our footage and edit it.

We still need to film the party scenes and a couple of close ups which i plan to have done by the end of this week. This will then leave time for us to edit and add finishing touches to our sequence.
