Our target audience for our project will be from the 15 upwards. We have decided to do this as we feel they contents of the sequence would be too explicit for children. Also we feel the elderly may not be able to watch this as it may be too violent. People with heart conditions may not be able to watch this as it could cause health problems.

This lacks evidence -you need to find some audience statistics for horror films or do some reserach/ look at ratings for recent horror films.... can you define it in terms of age, gender, ethnicity??? Also, what do audiences expect from horror films - what do they like to see? could survey some fans and then comment on what this reserach suggest you will need to do in your opening to keep your target audience happy.(Mrs D)
